The FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) aims to improve the overall quality of fleet operations; highlighting fleet operators that are above the rest when it comes to the best practices in efficiency, safety and environmental protection. Accredited fleet operators are open to many benefits including eLearning, training courses, toolkits/guides for improve their fleet operations and more.
What Does This Mean for Crown Waste Management?
Not only does this demonstrate to customers that we exceed industry standard and really aim to make a positive impact in our fleet operations, our Silver accreditation is a step up from Bronze and confirms we implement good practice and comply with requirements of the FORS scheme. We now comply with CLOCS Standards for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).
In addition to this, through the FORS scheme, our drivers and managers can access training to further enhance their skills and knowledge regarding work related road safety and minimising road collisions. The tools, guides and training course means our workforce can continue to improve and take our fleet operations to even better standards.
